Augmenting Teacher Salaries
A major struggle in Liberian public schools is attracting and maintaining qualified educators. The Liberian government pays teachers just $25 USD a month. Interested in supporting the teachers that educate our children, the Nyanbo family pays each teacher it sponsors a stipend of $50 USD a month.
The Nyanbo family especially wants to keep the elemenary school going in Rocktown.

Scholarships
Many Liberian students, whether they are in grade school or pursing a university education, struggle to succeed simply due to school fees. Understanding the importance and power of an educated generation, the Nyanbo family has started a scholarship program. The family currently supports young people in junior high and high school (7th-12th grade), as well as in university.

All students interested in assistance through the Nyanbo Family Scholarship are required to submit their grade sheets, letters of admission, a bio stating their area of studies and why they want the financial help, as well as a photo.




Supporting Education in Rocktown
School Building Repair
Several areas in the Rocktown elementary school are in need of repair, with few funds available to do so. The Nyanbo family understand the need for quality spaces for a quality education, thus have put funds towards improving their facilities.
